Grammy Award-winning artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, boasts one of the biggest fan bases in Africa, known as Wizkid FC. A recently surfaced clip of Wizkid FC has sparked widespread reactions and set tongues wagging online.
In the video that hit the internet, the singer’s fan base (Wizkid FC) infiltrates a Apple store and by extension ensures all the new phones in it play the Morayo album.
This is coming hours after Wizkid declares his latest album Morayo as the biggest album in Africa after the project achieves 48Million streams in 6 days thereby surpassing that of South Africa’s Tyla at 46.4 million streams in a week.
Recall that Wizkid released his sixth studio album “Morayo” on Friday, December 22nd, 2024 and since the release of the project that 16 tracks in, it keeps shattering records.
In a latest development, all the new phones in the Apple Store were seen streaming the Morayo album, a development which has stirred several reactions online.
Sharing the video, popular Nigerian music executive Adesope Shopsydoo wrote; “ Wizkid FC don infiltrate Apple Store ….. staff don set album for store oooooo #morayo.”
