A jaw-dropping video making the rounds on social media has left many stunned as it captures the moment a man miraculously escaped unscathed after a 40-foot loaded tank container fell on his car.
The shocking incident, which took place at Mile 2 in Lagos yesterday, sparked widespread reactions, with viewers describing it as nothing short of a divine intervention.
It was gathered that the incident occurred when the tanker, loaded with goods, lost control and toppled onto the vehicle. The video showed the man, who is the driver of Toyota Camry, registration number LSR 293 HJ trapped under the container.
Luckily for him, the man received immediate help, as the clip showed several people rushing to the scene, working together to pull the container off the car.
However, with the help of the good samaritans, Lagos State Traffic Management Authorities (LASTMA), the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), the man was rescued.
In the video, the man, who was lying flat in the driver’s seat, was carefully pulled out of his severely damaged car. To everyone’s astonishment, he emerged from the wreckage without a single scratch.
