A new video is making the rounds across social media platforms that show the moment actor Aremu Afolayan apologized to his elder brother and producer Kunle Afolayan.
In the clip which has taken over the social media space, Aremu Afolayan who is a businessman goes emotional as he breaks down into tears while apology to the filmmaker Kunle Afolaye at their late mother’s Service of Songs.
Omoladun Afolayan, the mother of Kunle and Aremu Afolayan, recently passed away at 81. Before her death, Kunle expressed concerns about Aremu’s lifestyle, accusing him of tarnishing the family name due to his lack of contentment. Reports suggest that Aremu’s preference for older women is one of the reasons behind Kunle’s disapproval.
Aremu in the video was overcome with emotion, shedding tears as he spoke about their late mother during her funeral rites held at Kunle’s KAP Village.
The actor was later spotted together with his elder brother Kunle, then uses the opportunity to apologize to him over the years of backlash on Instagram, telling the filmmaker to forgive while adding that he truly loves him.
He also showered encomium on his elder brother Kunle Afolayan over the house he built for their late mother before she passed away. The trending clip shows that blood is thicker than water as they later embraced each other with tight hug, stressing that the fight between them is over.
