Grammy-nominated artist, Yemi Alade has publicly accused prominent media outlets of blacklisting her over her absence from their event.

On Twitter (X), Alade vented her annoyance, stating that she had been blacklisted for a year after the media outlet removed her whole discography from their radio station following her non attendance at their event in December 2023.

The ‘Johnny’ crooner revealed nothing changed after she tendered an apology and contacted their management, but the media outlet decided not to put the incident behind them.

In the tweet,

“Take down my whole catalog from your stations @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica…. God go still give me food. You’re beefing an artist for 1 full year, over your event. I didn’t go, too. I apologized and even called your oga him dey form oga no even reply my text.

My God, BIG PASS YOUR WHOLE station @cloutafrica@CoolFMNigeria, keep on forming gate keepers and taking my songs down. NA GOD BE MY LABEL AND MANAGEMENT, we go meet for front. Fake people wey dey feel like small gods.

The common decency to reach out and clear out any misunderstanding borne out of sheer carelessness on your path for a whole year and your next move is to place an embargo on my songs? Remove my whole catalogue @CoolFMNigeria”
