Popular Nollywood actress and producer Funmi Awelewa has sparked reactions online as she took to her official Instagram page to disclose her favourite Nigerian singer of all time.
In a post shared via her verified Instagram page today, November 21st, 2024, actress Funmi Awelewa who is Cristiano Ronaldo favourite Nollywood actress picks Wizkid ahead of any Nigerian artiste therefore describing herself as Wizkid FC.
In 2021, actress Funmi Awelewa made national headlines when Cristiano Ronaldo, the former World Footballer of the Year and the most followed person on Instagram, viewed her Insta-Story. Before then she is always know for showing her utmost love for the Portuguese forward who now plays in Saudi Arabia.
Sharing the evidence to all and sundry in the year 2021, actress Funmi Awelewa wrote; “I swear @cristiano checked my story. This isn’t a joke or photoshop. Haaaa I don die.”

She said that after Cristiano Ronaldo, her other favourites include Wizkid and Olamide (Baddo) adding that with that she have a peace of mind already embedded in her.
