A Nigerian based in Canada shares advice with newly arrived Nigerian immigrants and others who are making active plans to relocate there.
The young man warns against seeking friends in all desperation and to try not to feel lonely or depressed.
He acknowledged that staying in a strange land with no family, friends or loved ones can make one bored and miserable but that is better than to making acquaintance with “unreasonable” people.
He said it would not be wise to spend millions to come over and get poisoned by the new friends they make who are terrible and have no love for them.
The Nigerian therefore advices one to be watchful and take their time in seeking friendship. Reacting, people have this to say:
obi_efizzygentle: No love in the streets of Canada. Even your loved friends go show you why you supose only go house love your family.
resettleincanada: Lool…No man is an island. You should mingle but with the right people as he said.
adeyemiaraleyi: Nobody will teach you to mingle when boredom, depression and isolation wan kee you…….mingle with reasonable people make sense sha, people who can add value n give u info without being Intimidated
