“Nigerian singer and songwriter Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, put aside his differences with his twin brother and former P-Square bandmate, Paul Okoye, to celebrate their birthday on social media.
Intelregion reported that Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rude Boy, accused Mr P and their former producer, Vampire, of stealing his songs. He revealed that he had written and recorded a song titled ‘Winning,’ intended to be part of his upcoming album next year. However, to his surprise, Mr. P released the same song through the same producer.
In response to the allegation, Mr. P explained that the song was co-written and composed by him and Calypso60. He asserted that it was impossible for him to steal a song he had co-created, as claimed by his twin brother.
Despite the ongoing allegations, Peter still acknowledged and celebrated his brother on their special day. He took to his Instagram page to share beautiful throwback pictures of themselves.
He captioned the photos, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! Stay WINNING! #WinningSeaon +1.”
