Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY Comedian and his estranged wife, Mabel, are reportedly embroiled in a custody battle over their second child.
It can be recalled that Rephrase, Ayo and Mabel separated earlier this year after 20 years of marriage. AY himself shared the news on the internet, noting that he could no longer entertain public opinion about his personal family issues.
According to a report by investigative blogger and journalist, Stella Dimoko Korkus, Mabel has denied AY access to their second child following their separation.
Stella Dimoko Korkus disclosed, citing close associates of the estranged couple, that AY violated an agreement by contacting his daughter through her nanny’s phone.
The investigative journalist reported that Mabel overheard AY speaking to their daughter via the nanny’s phone, prompting her to destroy the phone and dismiss the nanny.
According to Stella, the custody battle between AY and his ex-partner, Mabel, has escalated, with Mabel adamantly refusing to grant AY access to their daughter.
