A video has surfaced online that shows the moment popular Nigerian singer Davido was seen sharing a light-hearted conversation with pastor Adegboyega during the pastor’s birthday celebration, a development which left many inside the room automatically went silent.
Recall that in a previous post, Intel Region reported that singer Davido performed at Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s exclusive birthday party in London, United Kingdom.
The birthday party in London was absolutely nothing but a star-studded one as it was graced by other big names which include, Obi Cubana, E-Money, Kcee, Zlatan Ibile, Daddy Freeze, Nkechi Blessing among others.
Inside a room with Pastor Tobi Adeboyega, Kcee, and others, singer Davido, coming from a wealthy background himself, spoke about the importance of surrounding oneself with good people. He emphasized that money isn’t everything, highlighting the value of genuine connections and support in life.
At the initial part of the video, singer Davido showers encomium on the team of Pastor Tobi on how they all make is birthday a memorable one noting that, it reminds him of his wedding with his wife Chioma in June.
Speaking on his special bond with pastor Tobi, Davido stressed that the Uk-based Nigerian pastor has once cancels his birthday for him when he was going through difficult moment in life.
Davido shared that he was offered a large sum for an after-party following his show in Dubai, but he turned it down due to exhaustion, choosing instead to prioritize attending Pastor Tobi’s birthday celebration.

Explaining why he turned down a significant payday to attend Pastor Tobi’s birthday, Davido said that his relationship with Pastor Tobi goes beyond money. For him, the bond they share holds more value than any financial offer.
Justifying his reasons, Davido discloses that he would always be available to those who were there for him no matter what. The singer says in pidgin language “my own be say people wey dey for me I dey for them oh.”
Davido further emphasized his point by saying that in the game of life, things aren’t always smooth. He noted that while many people are around when everything is going well, only a few will stand by you when things take a turn for the worse.
As Davido spoke, the room fell silent, with everyone listening intently to his words. When he finished his speech, the crowd erupted in applause, clearly impressed by his wisdom and the depth of his insight.
